Woke up on New Year’s day to seeing these:

Yup. MORE scratches on my car. They’re pretty deep, too.

And this happened inside my house compound. Kinda makes you go hmmm… right?

Sigh. I’m not gonna point fingers, though.

Fudge. Definitely not a good start to my new year.

Well, I got an upgraded gadget for Christmas recently!

Hello Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus!

According to him, it was a last minute decision to get this, and since the Apple store in 1Borneo wasn’t open on that Christmas Day, he then went over to the Samsung store and got this instead!

He also said I needed an upgrade from my old Tab! :D

I noticed all the salespeople are boasting about the fact that this baby can make normal calls, blah blah..

But I thought, so what? My previous Tab could do the same thing! Big deal!

Here are the advantages I could think of as compared to my previous Galaxy Tab P1000:

• Super slim (LOVE!)
• Very light (Also LOVE! A plus in my book.. or I should say, in my handbag!)
• Screen is beautiful.. Much clearer and sharper
• Internet connection is super fast!
• Better speakers! (Good for listening to online radio, like me!)
• Different sound settings for notification, media, etc.

That’s all I could see at the moment. Now let’s move on with the disadvantages, shall we?

• Cannot adjust screen font size. It’s too small for me! I like ‘em big so I can read easily!
• Notification tab is too small. It is also auto-hide; you will not be able to see the notifications unless you click on the time at bottom of screen. I prefer the P1000′s notification settings: clearly shown at top of screen!
• Is it just me or does the battery drain much faster than the previous one?? But then again I haven’t installed the batter saver app, so I can’t say for sure.
• My Reader Hub app is missing!! And I can’t find it in the Android market nor the Samsung market! Boo!
• Number of homescreens are limited? I still can’t find a way to add or delete the screens which are not used! >.<

Don’t get me wrong guys, I LOVE my new Tab, especially the speakers! I just cannot live without it, I’m addicted to my  Tab! LOL!

So how WAS your Christmas celebrations?

I had a great one, surrounded with loved ones and laughter, though the hubby and I had a bit of trouble looking for new dad gifts. But according to them, the loved the gifts we got them, so yay!
