If I mention the word LASIK, I am sure you all would know what I am talking about, right?

Well, to those of you who have no idea on what LASIK is, it is a very popular eyesight correction procedure, which can be done at certified practitioners all over the world (and is also starting to gain exposure here in Malaysia too).

And recently, this LASIK topic came up at the FDA panel meeting held recently, and it was reaffirmed of its safety as well as success on getting it done, and the scientific data even showed that 95.4% of the LASIK patients worldwide are satisfied with their results!

More of what was being discussed during the Q&A of the panel meeting with Dr. Kerry Solomon, a world-renowned ophthalmologist and refractive surgeon at the Storm Eye Institute (you should read these LASIK information):

• On being asked what is LASIK, he anwered “Today’s modern LASIK combines 3D mapping and customized treatment for the 1st all-laser technology. The US Military & NASA have approved this combination on personnel including pilots and astronauts. It’s the pinnacle of LASIK technology.”
• He also mentioned that LASIK is well-established and has an exceptional track record.
• Also mentioned that those with thin, irregularly shaped corneas or unrealistic expectations aren’t considered good candidates.
• He advised that those who are considering to get LASIK done to get a good physician, and do their own research.

Obviously this post is about those who are interested on getting their eyesight corrected with LASIK. Good luck! And remember! Do some research!

Yes, everyone. I have never tried bowling before last night, can y’all imagine that??

WC, Impedius and I (sans Amie) were out for drinks last night, and I don’t know how it got into our heads, but the guys suddenly suggested we go bowling after that! And their location to go to was at Striker’s Bowl at Sutera Harbour!

I was told that the bowling arena there at Sutera is different than the rest..

And sure enough, it was! There was a disco ball and funky colourful lights and everything! Syok!

I excitedly agreed to their plan, but was worried that I’d embarrass myself at the same time.

But you know what? After a brief (and I mean BRIEF) explanation on how to play the game, I just gave it a try, and I realised that I love bowling! It’s not so hard to play after all! I should’ve played this game much earlier!

So much so, that I even managed to get 2 Strikes! And my score was 86! AND the best part was that I had beaten Impedius, who has played this game before! LOL!!

My fingers hurt cuz the 8 ball that I was using had very small holes on them, but I still can’t wait for our next game guys! And Amie, too bad you couldn’t join us gurl! Next time mesti join ah! The more the merrier!

Have you guys been to Dome at 1Borneo yet?

I always get friends asking me whether I wanna join them for a drink at Dome. Is that like a new hanging out spot or something?

Sure the place is nice and stuff, but everything in the menu is so expensive! OMG!

But I did went there recently anyway, last week if I’m not mistaken.. just to check it out..

And just ordered a Hot Chocolate for myself.. sad, right?

But that’s not the point of my story here, people..

As soon as I reached home that day, I IMMEDIATELY got a sore throat from that sweet drink. (Even though I know I have to avoid sweet stuff for the sake of my throat, I still eat or drink them anyway, just to prove whether my theory is true.. and duh, it obviously is.. time and time again)

I told myself that night that I would never order myself any sweet drinks like hot chocolate again. Ever.

But I’ve forgotten about that self-promise last night when I was out with WC, Impedius, Julian Sabah, Zie, SirGeorge and wifey. I ordered myself a cup of hot chocolate again! Silly, silly me!
But the thing is, I don’t seem to remember my so-called theory during ordering or drinking. It would only hit me when my throat starts to hurt.
And true enough, as soon as I reached home last night, my throat ached like crazy. Until now. Nice.

Me and my sweet stuff theory.. damn it. Gotta start thinking of some new recipes for a good health theory! LOL..
