A thing they used to use back in the days during a Murut wedding.. supposed to hold the ‘berian’ is it? My mom’s half Murut, and even she doesn’t know what this thing is called!

Sabah Fest 2008: Cultural Show (Part 1)

04 May

sabahfest2008.jpgDid you guys attend the Sabah Fest Cultural Show in Magellan over the weekend? This year, I managed to go, thanks to Fara! :)

This was the first time that I felt like we were one of the press people, as both Amie and I were there taking the VIPs’ photos when they arrived alongside the other photographers, and we were also there near the stage throughout the whole show! Punya syok, I tell you! Now I understand what Louis Pang meant when he talked about the adrenalin rush when taking photos during an event! The excitement is indescribable! ;)

Okaayyy.. obviously I’m still excited from the event (even though it’s been like.. 2 days? LOL)

Now on to the pics time!

DSC04914
These kids looked so cute! (too bad my hand wasn’t steady when taking this shot though:()

And throughout the walkway to the ballroom, you’ll be greeted with uber cute kids and adults with traditional costumes!

This is where I was at most of the time, near the Gong group, and very near the stage. Me likey!

There are lotsa pics to be uploaded on this blog for Sabah Fest, so I’ll be putting them into different posts to sorta group up!

So stay tuned for Part 2! ;)
