Happy Weekend!

I haven’t posted any pics of my doggies at home lately, have I?

So here they are!

Spike is about 90% deaf as of this moment. He can’t hear our voices at all now, and we would usually get his attention by tapping his tail or waking him up slowly to avoid him being frightened. He is definitely old now.. though his ever-present smile on his face is still there, like the one above..

My brother’s dog, Tabby, on the other hand.. is the very aggressive and hyper active one. She seriously eats a lot!! Are there any appetite suppressant for dogs? Hehe.. Seriously though.. she loves to play, but she plays rough! You’d end up with multiple scratches on your hands and legs after playing the chasing game around the yard with her!

Am just itching to use the 1000D and snap some pics this weekend!

A drink or two..

Even though I’m down with the flu and cough, that doesn’t stop WC from bringing me out for supper last night!

As I tweeted last night, we went to the Korean BBQ restaurant over at the Likas Driving Range to celebrate him having some good luck during the day yesterday, and a bottle of soju is a must-order whenever we’re at a Korean restaurant! We also got ourselves a membership card so we can get discounts when we dine there the next time! Wheeee!

The Morning at Gaya Street Fair

Well, some people call it Gaya Street Market, some call it Gaya Street Fair. It all depends on which type of English you’re using on a daily basis. ;)

Anyhoo..

Even though WeiChuen was feeling a bit under the weather this morning (flu and sore throat), he was all geared up to go to the Gaya Street Fair this morning, just to buy some wu lou for us!

The walkways seem to be getting smaller and smaller, with each stalls getting bigger and wider!

There were also a lion dance going on in the middle of the street fair, but there were so many people around it, I could barely see it. I asked WeiChuen to snap some pics of it since he’s much taller, but the pics all came out senget instead. Photo-taking fail.

After having our breakfast, buying our wu lou, and donated some money to the disabled people there, we came across this guy:

He can draw excellent Chinese calligraphy! He’d look at you once and can know what word to write for you. As for me, he took one look at me and wrote something.. this:

Fook, or prosperity! Isn’t it pretty? It’s for free, too! Thank you mister! :)

Then on our way back to our car, we came across such a cute lil’ thing! But what is that?? You hafta drop by tomorrow to find out! ;)

And before I forget, any of you ladies are on a job hunt as a PA? Because I have 2 vacancies for it, but with different job search pa companies lah. PM me in Facebook or send me an SMS about it, and I’ll give you more details!

These past few days

The weather has been really blah these past few days, don’t you agree? Raining all day and night.. I was freezing my butt off at the office! Had to drink several glasses of hot water just to keep warm! Really sucks, I tell you..

Some random shots taken last Friday on the way home from work..

Yes, I was super bored; stuck in a massive traffic jam. But hey, my car’s reaching its 1,000km mark! I think I’ll be reaching it before Valentine’s Day, yay!

And speaking of Valentine’s Day.. even though it’s a month away from now, I just told WC this afternoon that since it was my turn last year, it will be his turn to organise our V.Day’s plan this year! And knowing how busy he is, I really have no clue as to where he will be bringing me, or what’s in store for this year’s V.Day! Who knows he’ll suddenly show up at the office wearing a new tuxedo, then whisks me away to a mini vacation?? Hehe.. wild imagination, yes I know. Sigh..  But I guess we’ll just have to wait and see next month, huh?

Went out with da’ girls on Friday night, which I haven’t done in ages it seems! Had a great time, but yes, until now, I’m still recovering. Does that mean I’m getting too old for these sorta things now..? Hmmm…
