Night out with Sabah Bloggers at Lembah Impian

So Wei Chuen and I arrived at Lembah Impian for the mini gathering of Sabah bloggers (and Gallivanter), met the group, and ate straightaway!

Me likey the CNY decor!

I honestly was not full that night; the food sold were only so-so. We had to buy coupons to purchase the food and drinks, and I think overall WC spent around RM50 at least there for us both. Masih lapar that time, but what to do. Tahannn… WC felt the same (lapar); guess he won’t be reading up on http://www.weightlosssupplement.org either hehe..

Anyhoo..

We met a few new faces there that night.. well, to me and WC at least. We haven’t been going around blog hopping for a while now, so we’ve lost touch with the other Sabah bloggers out there.

Our table.. it looks more like a photogs’ teh tarik session or something, with most of the bloggers bringing their own DSLRs and videocams, including yours truly! :p

After that, we then walked over to Cabana Cafe for some drinks and to have more chit-chat time!

Oh no, whose pic does this belong to again?? Greg, is it yours? I’ve forgotten, but I do like this pic, as I was trying to pose like Massy‘s signature pose. Hehe.. Thanks Greg for the behind-the-scene photo!

It was great meeting up with old friends as well as with new friends. Can’t wait to have another mini gathering like this! ;)

The Morning at Gaya Street Fair

Well, some people call it Gaya Street Market, some call it Gaya Street Fair. It all depends on which type of English you’re using on a daily basis. ;)

Anyhoo..

Even though WeiChuen was feeling a bit under the weather this morning (flu and sore throat), he was all geared up to go to the Gaya Street Fair this morning, just to buy some wu lou for us!

The walkways seem to be getting smaller and smaller, with each stalls getting bigger and wider!

There were also a lion dance going on in the middle of the street fair, but there were so many people around it, I could barely see it. I asked WeiChuen to snap some pics of it since he’s much taller, but the pics all came out senget instead. Photo-taking fail.

After having our breakfast, buying our wu lou, and donated some money to the disabled people there, we came across this guy:

He can draw excellent Chinese calligraphy! He’d look at you once and can know what word to write for you. As for me, he took one look at me and wrote something.. this:

Fook, or prosperity! Isn’t it pretty? It’s for free, too! Thank you mister! :)

Then on our way back to our car, we came across such a cute lil’ thing! But what is that?? You hafta drop by tomorrow to find out! ;)

And before I forget, any of you ladies are on a job hunt as a PA? Because I have 2 vacancies for it, but with different job search pa companies lah. PM me in Facebook or send me an SMS about it, and I’ll give you more details!

SBG Halloween

I know I’m supposed to blog about this like, ages ago, but I hafta blame it this time to my mouse. Do you know how hard it is to edit pictures without using any mouse on a notebook?? So darn hard, okay? :(

Gotta love these soldiers: Lorna, Vera & my bro, Charlie! I’m not sure about Lorna’s gun, but Vera’s and Charlie’s guns have not only gun sound effects to it, but also voices saying “Fire! Fire!” It’s so funny! And cool!

Gotta love Roger Wang’s performance. Whatever song he plays, he would surely wow-ed the crowd with his playing!

I also loved Alvin’s performances, with his smooth R&B voice, especially the last song he sang called “No one else comes close”. One of my favourite songs!

I myself don’t know so many of the bloggers who attended, and these bloggers are the only blogs who I visit almost on a daily basis! Alus, AmyC, and Chegu Carol!

Yes, I admit we had so many flaws that night, but to those of you who made new friends that night, good for you! We’ll surely try to make it better the next time around; less formal, and more interaction among all bloggers attended!

But still, I’m sure you all had fun dressing up, right?? I myself haven’t been to a Halloween party in ages! Only in the States.. never here in Sabah! And I was so happy so many of you dressed up! All pun dressed up to the max ni! Nice!!

Oops, I was supposed to talk about non insulated terminals, but ended up talking about this overdue post instead! Heehee!
