‘08 Kaamatan, The Caneeliea Way
Monday, June 2nd, 2008Yeah.. in my earlier posts, I mentioned that I planned on going to KDCA to check out the Unduk Ngadau finals, right? Well, Amie, Impedius, Lil’ Miss H., WC and I went there in the afternoon, to be greeted with rows and rows of cars parked right beside the road outside of KDCA! Argh!! And to make it worse, it was raining! Ishhhh! So in the end, we didn’t go. Just passed there only.. oh well.

So since I didn’t get to celebrate my Kaamatan at KDCA, don’t think that I just stayed home the rest of the holiday, though!
Nope.. Amie, moi and the rest of our group celebrated Kaamatan by first going to Blu Note, then around 1+am we went to Shens, and at 3+am we headed to R&B in Lintas, because I’ve never been there, and I wanted to check the place out!
OMG! I thought I’d never say this, but I love the R&B joint located in Lintas! The place may be controversial, but if you love R&B and Hip Hop music, then you would LOVE this place! I danced the whole time we were there, and that’s like a record for me! LOL! So syok bah the music! But if you go there, just take care of your belongings, e.g. drinks, handbags, etc., to avoid unwanted things to happen..
Oh, did y’all know that Blu Note now has a very nice white decor theme? There are more couch and better seatings too, perfect for happy hour and such, but I personally very much prefer the old decor; it was a much nicer environment to dance to. But that’s just me lah.. 
Anyway, Mikey the Ice Man joined us at Blu Note, and since his birthday is very near, we all thought we’d celebrated it with him!
When we reached Shens, DJ Meg just finished spinning, and we were excited that a band came on stage after that. But turned out that the band played only rock songs the rest of the night! Urgh!! It sucked big time lah wei!! I hate rock songs! But surprisingly, since a few of our friends were there, we did stay there till 3am anyway LOL!
We all stayed at the R&B joint till it closes bah, imagine that! OMG LOL! And that’s like 5am too, LOL! We then headed for supper (which is actually breakfast for some people lah that time LOL) at Lido. The food there are all very yummy lah! Must make it a point to visit the the mini market again for the food!
Reached home around 6am. Crashed terusss!
