Jalan-Jalan on Yana’s Birthday

Even though online and photography work are still piling up (I know, what else is new, right? Hmph..) my gurls informed me that there will be another gurls outing on Saturday, to celebrate Yana’s birthday. (which was on Friday) So of course I had to free my schedule for my gurl’s birthday!

We went to 1Borneo, and the first thing we did as soon as we reached there was look for a place for lunch..

And we finally found a place.. at Kenny Rogers.

This pic hast got to be one of the rarest pic I’ve taken with CT! She actually smiled in this pic! Hehe.. Usually she’d never smile! That was why I smiled without showing my teeth as well! But manatau she did pula this time.. So I gotta post this up! I like! :)

We each had a quarter meal, and the above was my meal.

Yana and CT all couldn’t finish their meal; they only ate halfway, and already felt full.. whereas I finished the whole thing and there were still room for more! Crazy or what?

But then again, whenever WC and I eat at Kenny Rogers, we’d usually order the half chicken meal each, not the quarter meal! Figures! Haha..

After lunch, we walked up and down 1Borneo, and I wanted to check out the DiGi iPhone and BB package so bad, but the basement Digi Centre was packed! OMG.. so tidak jadi lah.. perhaps later today? ;)

Okay, now back to work. And note to self, no more checking out those Amazon books, no matter how cheap they are as compared to bookstores here in KK. Must.control!

Oh, and I noticed my hair’s getting long again! Yay!

Night out with Sabah Bloggers at Lembah Impian

So Wei Chuen and I arrived at Lembah Impian for the mini gathering of Sabah bloggers (and Gallivanter), met the group, and ate straightaway!

Me likey the CNY decor!

I honestly was not full that night; the food sold were only so-so. We had to buy coupons to purchase the food and drinks, and I think overall WC spent around RM50 at least there for us both. Masih lapar that time, but what to do. Tahannn… WC felt the same (lapar); guess he won’t be reading up on http://www.weightlosssupplement.org either hehe..

Anyhoo..

We met a few new faces there that night.. well, to me and WC at least. We haven’t been going around blog hopping for a while now, so we’ve lost touch with the other Sabah bloggers out there.

Our table.. it looks more like a photogs’ teh tarik session or something, with most of the bloggers bringing their own DSLRs and videocams, including yours truly! :p

After that, we then walked over to Cabana Cafe for some drinks and to have more chit-chat time!

Oh no, whose pic does this belong to again?? Greg, is it yours? I’ve forgotten, but I do like this pic, as I was trying to pose like Massy‘s signature pose. Hehe.. Thanks Greg for the behind-the-scene photo!

It was great meeting up with old friends as well as with new friends. Can’t wait to have another mini gathering like this! ;)

No MYM, Still Sick

No Mellow Yellow Monday (MYM) from me this week; I had no time to look around for yellow coloured things recently, with me being sick and all. And yes, just a few days of having the flu and cough, people are already noticing that I’ve lost some weight! That’s just great.. like I need to lose anymore weight huh.. Sigh..

Anyways, was excited that parents are finally back from Macau yesterday, so WC and I brought them (along with older bro and gf) out for dinner at Diamond Restaurant last night.

Even though I was weak from constantly coughing my lungs out and my flu bugged me the whole day, I tried my best to enjoy the dinner with the family. Don’t you hate it when you’re sick, you don’t have the appetite to eat, and everything tastes bland to you? Yea, that was how I felt last night and these past few days. Blergh..

I hope I get well soon! Before CNY, to be exact! I’d hate to be sick this weekend!

To those of you who noticed this post on WC’s blog, I accidentally wrote it on his blog instead! That’s what happened if you open both you and your fiance’s blogs on the same computer, while waiting for him to come home and update his own blog! This is why we need to open our blogs on our own laptop computers dear! Lol..

Food Friday #3

I tweeted this the other day:

And straightaway, I got some people asking me where in KK this place is. (Guess they didn’t notice the link I put up there, huh?) But because of so many people who don’t seem to know about this place, I was a bit skeptical as to where it’s still there or not.

I mean, what if it was closed?? My excitement would’ve been for nothing!!

But luckily..

Beijing Buffet BBQ Steamboat is still there, located inside of Kg. Nelayan, at Bukit Padang! What a relief!!

And so back to this post’s topic, what better day than to post the pic I took that night, right here on Food Friday right? ;)

It’s just a simple snapshot that I took before eating to my heart’s content! It IS an All-You-Can-Eat restaurant, after all, so I wasn’t gonna spend my time taking pics; I wanted to just get straight to bbq-ing my food so I can eat!
