Don’t you just hate it when you’re all cheerful and happy one minute, and then something bad has to come up and ruin the moment?
That’s what I’m going through.. sigh..
And yes, just like the photo above.. weather all nice and sunny one minute, then cloudy and gloomy the next..

So many of you have asked me how I spent my birthday recently, so here’s the lowdown..
Parents brought the family out for my birthday dinner the night before! Then, both WC and I took an off-day from work the next morning, and so we took our time to wake up! Bliss!
Then by the time we got ready to go out, it was already almost lunchtime, so instead of our original plan of eating an early dinner at Salut, we had lunch there instead!
There were not that many people dining there, and it was surprisingly very breezy that we didn’t need any fan turned on!
Anyways, here’s what we ordered, just for the two of us:
Since I don’t eat clams, WC finished it all by himself, it’s crazy! The steamed prawns, ginger lokan, and the ham choy soup was GOOD! Not so much for the kai lan and the steamed fish though. So mental note: go there in the evening to eat instead; chef in the afternoon is slow, and food not so yummy. Hmm…
I then got a call to sign some documents together with WC after lunch at 1Borneo, and after that was done, we went to the post office at Likas Square to renew our driving licenses (both of ours have expired! Eeek!). After that, we picked up younger bro for a private karaoke session at Boutique KTV in D’Junction. We took the Birthday package BTW, with 4 hours of KTV room usage plus LOADS of drinks and food!
So with just me and my brother singing for 4 HOURS (WC hardly sang, hmph!), we agreed that it would be a while before we have the urge to go for karaoke again! We literally left the KTV with a sore throat from singing so much! LOL!
Reached home that night feeling so exhausted, but happy, because since I’ve already received my present wayyy beforehand, with WC spending the whole day with me and brought me to places is good enough for my birthday. Heck, it was awesome, actually, because he spent quite a lot on this day alone! I know because all the receipts are kept by me! Lol..
Thank you dear for making my birthday another memorable one.. without alcohol involved, too! Ha!

So Wei Chuen and I arrived at Lembah Impian for the mini gathering of Sabah bloggers (and Gallivanter), met the group, and ate straightaway!

I honestly was not full that night; the food sold were only so-so. We had to buy coupons to purchase the food and drinks, and I think overall WC spent around RM50 at least there for us both. Masih lapar that time, but what to do. Tahannn… WC felt the same (lapar); guess he won’t be reading up on http://www.weightlosssupplement.org either hehe..
Anyhoo..
We met a few new faces there that night.. well, to me and WC at least. We haven’t been going around blog hopping for a while now, so we’ve lost touch with the other Sabah bloggers out there.
Our table.. it looks more like a photogs’ teh tarik session or something, with most of the bloggers bringing their own DSLRs and videocams, including yours truly! :p

It was great meeting up with old friends as well as with new friends. Can’t wait to have another mini gathering like this!
