So lately we just had our water pipe fixed and the roof water tank removed.. which means that our whole house is connected directly to the water’s main pipe.
Pros? Water pressure is much stronger upstairs. We don’t even have to turn on the water heater to increase the water pressure like before. We can directly turn on the shower and enjoy the cold shower water! Yay!
Cons? Water pressure is so strong that I had to reduce the shower’s water volume; it feels and sounds like the shower head would burst from all the extra water pressure if I didn’t! Also, if we turn off the water pump, that would mean there would be no water downstairs AND upstairs, unlike before. Boo.
I wonder whether the plumber who did the water pipes used steel clamp or not. We wouldn’t want any pipe to go bursting on us now, wouldn’t we?
Touch wood!
