Our house (downstairs) electricity circuit is so inconsistent, it’s starting to annoy me.
The other day, I tried to boil water with both the kettles at the same time in the kitchen, and guess what happened?
The electricity tripped.
And it happened around 7-ish pm, with me alone downstairs, and big bro & SIL upstairs. They didn’t have a clue what happened, but me, I was frozen there in the kitchen for a minute when it happened (it was a complete darkness okay!) quickly grabbed my cellphone and made my way upstairs and called the big bro to come check the electricity. He told me the electricity tripped and went to the fuse box and turn the electricity back on. Cheh.
The second time the electricity trip happened was when I took out the radio boombox to the kitchen and tried switching it on, since it was so quiet in the kitchen, and I was home alone by myself at that time. I wanted to cook dinner for the hubby again before he comes back from work.
But as soon as I turned on the radio, the electricity tripped again, after less than 5 seconds of turning the radio on! So annoying! But since I know what to do now, I just quickly went to the fuse box and turned the electricity back on.
My mistake this time though was I had the rice cooker on, both the kettle on, the microwave was defrosting something, so I guess the electricity was maxed out. My bad, haha.
But I guess if I every buy Ibanez Amplifiers for whatever reason in the future, I could never switch it on downstairs! The electricity supply would definitely not be enough! Haha.
For now, I guess I’ll just stick to the online radio music from my Tab to keep me company when I cook in the evening :P
