I’ve uploaded some old pics of my family and I when we were in the States to Facebook, and I couldn’t help it but laugh at the comments received!

So I thought I’d share some with you all.. because staying in the US, especially during the winter time, was definitely one of the highlights in my life so far!

One of my favourite hangout spots with my friends, McDonalds! A mere 5 minute walk from where we lived! Oh and the 0.99 cents meal and the big burgers (unlike those served here!), and the drive-ins! How I miss doing those things!

First time playing snow at our backyard! They’re so.. white! And clean! Never mind that our hands and feet felt like they were frost bitten,  we just had to make snow angels and snowman and play snow fights!

A couple of days away from celebrating our very first White Christmas there in Fort Collins, Colorado.. our aunt told us to try sledding at a hill near her house! It was so much fun!

Also, every year during the winter season, Canadian geese would migrate up north and stop by at the lake near where our University Apartment called City Park.

The geese were so ‘jinak’! We came prepared with bread and they would literally eat the food from the palm of our hands, as shown above!

There are even swans there sometimes!

WeiChuen commented how it’s really annoying to take pics of almost everywhere we go, but once looking at these photos, he appreciates having the memories captured forever in photos now, and how true that is..

I’ll try to look for more photos of my childhood to share with you all, syok kan looking back on your childhood?
