I can finally edit photos and blog properly again! Yeay!
To those of you who have received sushi vouchers from Wagamama during SBG this year, have you all used it yet?
I’ve used mine recently, and voila!

We didn’t reach up to RM100 on our bill, but we did get a 50% off on the total bill, so it’s not so bad; from RM70 to only RM35!

Sold my Sony A200 dSLR to a friend of mine last month, so no more Alpha for me, only the Canon 1000D! Felt really sad parting with it, but I find that Canon focuses much faster when shooting at events as compared to the Sony. Other than that, I loved how easy it was to set up the white balance on the A200.. just change the Kelvin settings according to your preference, and you’re done! In Canon though, I still have trouble in getting the right white balance under different lightings..
But practice.. more practice in using Canon.. I know..

End of last month, me, together with one of my best friends from high school, Yana celebrated another of our best friend CT’s birthday at Karamunsing. Had to quickly rush home from work, met up with the girls, and celebrated CT’s birthday at RCH then off to a karaoke session after that! Fun Fun Fun! I just love having girls night out!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.. gosh it’s really NOT easy juggling office work in the daytime, then blogging work in the evenings AND having personal and social time on the side! But I hafta make sure that no online work will expire just like that. Such a waste that’ll be!
And speaking of work, to those of you who works in Philadelphia, and are currently looking for a job, then you should check out this city of philadelphia jobs. No harm in doing that, right?

hey sorry to hear that you have to part with your sony. canon’s white balance is tricky under artificial light. to rectify this, there are two ways. first, set the white balance to auto and then shoot RAW and then get the white balance right in ACR. or if you don’t like this, you can use a white balance card to get the right color temperature before you shoot. good luck.
