Happy Merdeka to my fellow Malaysians! :)
So how was everyone’s long weekend? Other than checking my email occasionally (from the phone, that is), I made it a point to have a break from the computer during this long weekend, and spend most of my time with WC, Daisy, and doing more house chores. And I did! It felt gooood to be away from the computer once in a while! Too bad my eyebags didn’t go away though.. hmph.
I thought last year’s Merdeka celebrations were quiet, but this year, it felt like just a normal weekend! No fireworks or anything at all! Apart from our yummy smell from our grilling food, of course! ;)
This year, we’ve gone Korean style of grilling and food, which is the Samgyeopsal! OMG I am in love with this dish! Dipped in a special sauce, then wrapped in Sangchu (Lettuce in Korean) with Kimchi, OMG if you haven’t tried this dish, you don’t know what you’re missing!!
I also love this dish because I can get WC to eat more veggies! Hah! ;)
There were also lamb shoulders, mushrooms, fish balls and sausages! YUMMY!
And thanks to my dearest WC for grilling the food for me; all I had to do was stuff myself with the yummy food that was put on the plate by him! (oh and notice his cheeks? Both his and mine are getting quite chubby now! Argh! Does that mean it’s time to look for some top weight loss pills now?)
And gosh.. can y’all believe it? Today (1st Sept ’09) is our 2nd year engagement anniversary! How time really flies! What to do to celebrate this special day ya.. hmmm…

I noticed the bbq place is rather small…thats new… Uhh. I spent merdeka sleeping finishing work =( This year’s merdeka is the worst for me.
