Remember this post? Well, the Sony Alpha workshop session held over the weekend was a success!

Group pic ‘borrowed’ from John in Alphanatics ;)

It was held at the Sipadan Room at Marina Court; first time for me being there..
Since the workshop was basically more or less the same as the previous one I’ve attended, I mostly fiddled with my camera, taking pics in B/W.

Here’s a die-hard Sony Alpha user, complete with a new set of camera (Sony A230? A330? Forgot..) and the Sony vest.. how come we never get those in the workshops here leh..? Only saw those in KL only.. :(

The lady in front of me, using a brand new Sony A330, which was just bought the day before.. I got to play with it a bit, and it’s just like WC’s Canon 1000D?! To those of you who have tried it out, you’d know what I mean. But I do like the shutter sound though. It’s much quieter, not like my A200; so loud!

Joan was there too! I didn’t realise it was her at first.. Since I was alone, I just simply sat beside these 2 ladies, and when we turned to each other, started talking, that’s when we knew each other.. Nice to meet you too Joan! And whaddya know? We have the same camera! :)
After the usual aperture and shutter test in the workshop, it was then time to shoot, and this time, there were 2 models provided during the photoshoot session. We literally swamped the swimming pool area! Photogs here and there!

Notice Sham holding the 2 flashes for better effect to those with the wireless flash function turned on..

And the photogs went wild when the 2 models posed together! I just snapped a few pics of them, then went back to the shaded area.. the weather was too hot!
I’ll just show y’all these 2 pics that I took:

I didn’t know there will be model photoshooting session, so I didn’t bother bringing 70-210mm, only used my kit lens. No portrait shots with bokeh! :(
But Ryzan76 did lend me his Tamron 90mm F2.8 Macro to use for a short bit, and the SAL 11-18mm. Argh.. I seriously got poisoned by them all.. I GOTTA look for new lenses! Sham said I should just go buy the Minolta 50mm Macro for my food photography, but I want a wide-angle lens too!
Argh.. Dilemma dilemma!

previous comment had been void by you Math …
not a very cool way for readers to place sweet comments.
and it usually require readers to retype again…
if it is short … then is ok .
if it is long … it would be a real trade off for sure since the page unable to Refresh and retain details..
CHill out and have a nice day~
