Not long after my dog Bruno passed away, it was obvious that my other dog Spike immediately felt the sudden pang of loneliness.. no more of playing with each other, sleeping near each other, fighting for food, Bruno biting Spike’s ear.. practically whatever Spike used to do, he would always check with Bruno first. Now? Nothing.
So me being me, I of course feel sorry for Spike, and vowed to make him less lonely. So I’d promise myself that I’d bring Spike for his mini walk around the neighbourhood every evening, just so that he will have something to do, instead of just moping around the house. (It’s also an excuse for me to have a break from being at my computer since morning actually hehe!)
Here’s Spike jogging around yesterday.. he was sure in a jolly mood. And something interesting happened: I let him be close to one particular neighbour’s dog who was outside at the time, and surprisingly, they didn’t get into a fight! Phew! They got along quite well! So glad! I wouldn’t know what to do when dogs get into a fight, seriously!
I just hate all the other neighbours dogs barking at us all the time though.. Spike hates it too; he’d bark and growl at them too!
Here’s Spike and I after our walk yesterday.. used my cameraphone to capture these, thus, the bad quality. He sure knows how to look at the camera, huh!… well, except for the second photo; he was actually looking at the camera at first, then he suddenly looked away when a bird passed by!
Sigh.. how I love recording memories like this!

If you have a pet as well, why don’t you record memories like these with them? You’ll appreciate it in the future, trust me.

Hi Spike!!! So geram i tgk! so cute!! sorry to hear about your Bruno.. it seems lately there’s been a couple of friends’ pets passing away.. :( :( How old was Bruno by the way?
Anyways, hope you two enjoy more walks and memories in the future!! :)

Shemah, yea I noticed that too.. about some other pets passing away recently.. Bruno was just a month shy of being 7yrs old (49 in doggy years). He was sick bah.. You have no pets? Cats or anything?

ive documented every dog that has been in my life ever since i have a camera. even the lost daschund who came to our hse but later got hit by a car. i was too upset to even see his pictures, i deleted them from my hard drive.

My last dog named “truggy”… dead by bad neighbor was my last pet… ever since that.. I scared to have any pet.. i do not want them to die under my care.. my truggy even been registered with tag and got all his needed jab.. so sayang… now when ingat, missed pulak dia..
your bruno lost is totally sedih story… your spiky is indeed one happy dog.. memang pandai bergambar lagi tu… untung kau JACQ :)

Papajoneh, iyerr kesian your Truggy! Yea some people are like that, even my mom said the same thing: don’t want to have anymore pets, cuz don’t want to go thru the sad part. But hey, that’s part of life, right? I’m not gonna listen to her hehe.. and you can do better also tu PapaJ in the future.. you can’t let just one dog stop you from having other pets in the future.. (and yes, we’re still lucky to have Spike; he helped ease the pain from losing Bruno)

Olie, LOL! Funny lah u Olie.. But I’ve heard that before.. people told me I still look like how I was when I was a kid LOL.. thus the make-up to make me look my age hehe.. but tq tq.. teda lah.. erm.. drink birds nest! ;) Ya Spike bikin geram tinguk kan?
