My Photo Foodie Gears

A few of you have been asking what camera and lenses I use for my food photos.

Which 50mm to use?

Well, apart from the SAL18-70 kit lens, I also use the Minolta 50mm F1.7 lens on my Sony A200. And as of late, I’ve also been using my 1000D (yes, it’s mine! WC gave it to me! Wheeeee!) with the Canon 50mm F1.8 lens as well.

Now all I need is a diffuser for my A200′s external flash, and another external flash for my 1000D, and I’ll be all set! :)

Balik Kampung?

Kampung Feeling Right In The Heart of Kota Kinabalu

I went ‘balik kampung‘ yesterday, as seen from the above photo.

Hehehe… Nah.. just kidding. But doesn’t it look like in the kampung, though, with all the bamboo decor and stuff? I like! It’s certainly something different, feeling like you’re in kampung when you’re right in the middle of city!

Was actually at Tambayan last night, a Filipino restaurant located at Api-Api Centre, and we actually pigged out (no pun inteded hehe..) to all pork dish last night! From pork soup, to fried pork leg, to sizzling diced pork. *burp*

And now, I don’t think I wanna see any pork dish anytime soon! Had too much man, too much!

Salute To March Babies!

It’s not only my birthday that falls in March; I know a lot more people who are March babies as well, like my younger bro, my uncle in the US, several of my primary school classmates, my ex-boss, and of course, some of my friends as well.

And on Sunday evening, WC and attended JulianSabah’s surprise birthday party at Upperstar Damai.
