No Idea What To Give Him

30 Nov

Hi guys! If you're new here, you should subscribe to my RSS feed. TQ for visiting! :)

Just a quick update on my blog before I run off again to have my 50% off dinner at CUBE tonight with my siblings (heard it was a hit yesterday and the food were gone by 8.30pm??! Wow!)

Since Christmas AND WC’s birthday is coming up in December, I’ve been working my butt off this month (November) to get extra money for his presents. And like Mel, I STILL don’t know what to get him for both occasions! Argh!

I don’t wanna give him simple things like office supplies or whatever.. of course I wanna give him some good things, but what ah?? Guys, help!!

Argh.. stressed man..

Hmm.. maybe I should get him this huh? Tamron prime lens! But wait. That’s actually on MY own X’mas wish list! LOL!

Sigh..

I guess I’ll just end this post with the man, WC in action.

Another Sony Alpha TT Session

27 Nov

WC and I attended another Sony Alpha TT Session on Tuesday night. We originally wanted to have it at Coffeebean Damai, but found that it was closed for some renovation or something. So we went to Vegas Bar&Grill at Damai Point instead.

As soon as everyone arrived (there were only about 6 of us), everybody started to take out their gears, and testing each other’s lenses! There was the A200, A300, A350, and the A700. The only ones missing were the A100, and the new A900!

Vivian and I became models because we all wanted to see the F58am external flash in action! And that is one funky flash, I might add! I like!

We didn’t know any other Sony Alpha members out there here in KK, so if you are one, drop me a comment, and maybe you can join us the next time around! :)

We Were Enjoying The Music Until..

25 Nov

WC and I had an after dinner drink at South Rock Cafe in Damai Point on Sunday night.

cafe

It was our first time there, and since I just got better from my flu and cough, I thought I’d just order a glass of apple juice, while WC couldn’t resist and ordered a glass of Long Island Iced Tea.

Oh and btw, he said their L.I. Iced Tea was yummy! I didn’t try it since I don’t like that drink, so I can’t confirm what he said..

South-Rock-cafe

Isn’t their bar cool? Even though WC didn’t really agree with me, I kinda liked the decor there! And there’s a live 2-member group/band crooning the whole night too! I like!

But.. WC didn’t agree with me on that either, cuz he still thinks the music was too loud for dining time (but we weren’t eating dearie, we were just drinking what!) and the place was too warm. I thought it was fine since it was like, open aired anyway.. right?

So anyways.. we were enjoying the music, when I saw the waiter on the next table was asked to carry a whole bunch of plates AND the chilli and ketchup sauce! I was like.. uh oh.. that spells trouble right there!

And true enough, right when the waiter turned and was walking right in front of our table, he dropped EVERYTHING! Habis the broken plates kena my feet! Ouch! (WC was wearing jeans and shoes, so he felt nothing)

I felt so sorry for the waiter, and if I was nearer, I would’ve tried and catch some of the plates, but I wasn’t. Same for WC as well. But in his case, he was slightly tipsy, so that’s why he didn’t bother to try to catch the plates! LOL!

I then gave the table a look that says “See what you’ve done! Asking him to carry so many things at one time!” And yes, they saw my look! LOL!

We left a few minutes after that, because they had to sweep the plates away, which were under our table. What an ending to a nice evening..

Monday Post

24 Nov

I’ve been keeping something from you readers.. and I think it’s time that I should tell the whole world (I mean, I don’t see why I shouldn’t, right?)

So here it is..

I’m now an employee again! Muahaha!

I know a lot of you would go.. huh? Why do you want to go back to working life when you were working for yourself for the whole year?

I can answer that question with just 1 word, baby!

B-o-r-e-d-o-m!

Yup. I’m so freaking bored of being at home all the time, so I got fed up and got myself a job. So now I’m back to doing what I was doing before.. prior to me becoming a full time blogger, that is! Well.. it’s more lah.. I’m the secretary, the accounts person, the sales exec, the receptionist.. everything! Tiring, I tell you! And my weekends are not Saturdays and Sundays, it’s Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

My other part time jobs are also taking up my spare time these days; thus the lack of updates on my blogs. Hope y’all understand. Gotta look for more moolah while I’m still able, yo!

But I don’t regret my decision of going back to work; I love my job now! I just wish that I got internet line on my computer there, though!

~~~~~~
Okay, on to the next topic..
xmas decor
Christmas decorations are up in malls now! I was at 1Borneo again yesterday, and I know kids will LOVE the decorations there! So many different coloured Christmas trees, and other Christmas decorations!
So parents, bring your kids there and take pics! It’ll be fun!
