It’s their Engagement Day today!

Ignore my tired face..

Anyways, us family went over to my cousin’s house first, as they requested for us to join in the convoy.

And once there, my brother quickly asked me to take pics, but I was too tired and had a headache, so I just passed the camera to him and asked him to take pics of the ceremony while I wait outside.

My dad was the ‘Ketua Kampung’ and he conducted the ‘engagement discussion’. My mom on the other hand was one of the witness. Sempat lagi the couple modeled their batik outfits LOL! And everyone sharing a laugh during the ceremony.

Like my own engagement ceremony, their theme colour was purple too! (well, it was purple AND blue, but still got purple nonetheless!) Even the house cat couldn’t resist being near it! And see the stacked up gifts? Isn’t that a great idea?? Love it! Cousin Jun was showing everyone what was in each box after that.

Blessing of and exhanging of rings, prayers after that, then signing of engagement contracts!

After the ceremony was over, it was then makan time! (for those of who aren’t fasting, of course!) The catered food were great, but the home cooked food at the kitchen were even better! To those of you who went back early, you guys missed out some great food!! No joke!

Ah well..

Met a long lost close friend of mine, Kamaliah, took a pic with the official photog bennyliew, and a pic with cousin Jun today as well.

Small talk: Lucky for them, no one wore any funny t-shirts during the event. I hate it when somebody doesn’t dress appropriately on your event!
