2008 SBG - Part 1

I personally truly LOVED how well the 2008 SBG turned out!
Despite our day job being greatly affected (and the many sleepless nights *still trying to bayar balik actually*), but with the trust we have in each other in getting the pending things done, I’m so glad that everything fell into place perfectly during the event.
Bravo to all the organisers, who all worked their butts off with me for the event! *claps*
JulianSabah did a great job of summarizing the behind-the-scene story HERE.
Being an organiser and trying to cover the event at the same time is not an easy thing to do.
So what actually did I do, you ask?
Well, I passed my camera to WC and asked him to take pics of me and the people that I chatted with! Hehe!
What you see as soon as you step out of the elevator at Imperial International Hotel’s 10th Floor
As soon as the registration table was prepared (Fara wasn’t there yet when this pic was taken)
I arrived at the hotel at 4pm, actually, but upon reaching there, I was practically shaking and weak. Urgh. Luckily Julian said he can oversee the things there and told me to take a rest in the hotel room especially reserved for the committees. Phew!
Asked WC to buy me an early dinner as I foresee that I won’t be able to eat much of the food there (as my tummy was still not settled). So ate in the room and then got out to the registration table to get things ready, in case there’s any early birds.
And true enough, the first group of people who arrived early at 5.30pm were:
Amy C. (and bf) & her sis, Alicetine! Good job for beating the Sabah Time habit guys!
Then, not long after that, bloggers started arriving and the registration area was damn happening after that! LOL..
The event started started around 7.15pm. I started to go from table to table from then on and took pics with the attendees!
With Robb of Nuffnang, representing his company and Exabytes at the same time, and who we all thought was a celebrity or some sort before! Hehe..

I was hesitant on introducing myself at this table because I had accidentally deleted Daniel aka Gidong off the attendance list. (*slaps forehead*) Luckily he told me about it, and I quickly put his name back in the list! But he said all is well now hehe!
And Gidong, I wanted to camwhore with you bah tu that night, but tidak sempat ni! 
With Gaman, BenGodomon, cutesy JosieKupi and erm… quick! Update me your name!
I admit, I have a very short memory. Doh!
With Clement, who won twice that night! Lucky dude!
With Lady Mariah (who was one of the people who did live blogging that night) and Shueqry. He cycled his way from Lok Kawi to the event! Isn’t that cool or what? With the Tawau Bloggers group. They were the lucky ones that night, as most, if not all, won something in the lucky draw!
1998 (exactly a decade ago!) SM All Saints batch of students reunited! With one of the performers that night, Jessel & RatuSyura. Felt like in school again seeing you guys that night! 
Eh, I just realised Elaine, who was also in the same batch as us, wasn’t in the pic..
But I did take a pic with her too! TQ for the Vedablu ice-creams! They were rich and yummy! As usual! 
With cousin Octivian, who owns Olumis Borneo Batik House. WC and my outfits were sponsored by them that night! TQ again!
Of course, had to take a pic with the photography guru, Louis Pang!
Louis, on what we talked about, I’m looking forward to be part of it! Will keep in touch with you soon!
Finally met the chic Chegu Carol that night too!
