HVL-F58AM: I Want This!

If you don’t know what that is, the HVL-F58AM is actually an external wireless flash for Sony Alpha DSLRs! It will be sold starting in September this year. Still have to wait such a long time for it! Argh!!

I’ve been eyeing for an external flash for quite sometime now, but I just can’t seem to figure out which model to get. And not to mention they’re quite pricey.. the other model, the HVL-F56AM alone is like, RM1,600? Mahal oh! I can’t imagine how much this new F58AM will cost!!

But then again.. this new flash that was recently announced.. OMG, it looks so cool!!

But this one looks different, right?? Looks so cool, man!

The question is.. will I be able to wait that long for this?? Arghhh!!

Small talk: And I know this is wayyy off topic, but don’t you hate it when your bar faucets leak? Time for the plumber to come by again and fix it!

    this is one cool-looking flash. trust sony to design something like this! I like how it swivels to portrait orientation. cool!

    but, unless you insist on having sony, look for other brands that may have the features you need but at a lower price. try comparing metz 48 or 58 with this sony, and see what you think. i have the metz48 and am quite pleased with it. bought it from ebay.

    Kay Kastum, ok ok lah.. I still very much prefer NOT to use flashes though.. ;)

    polester, Metz 58 is more or less same price with Sony flashes as well on Ebay! Gasp!

    cktan, yup yup. The A200. Yours? Practice makes perfect they say, so just practice away and you’ll get used to it! And yup. Add away! :)
