Hi guys! If you're new here, you should subscribe to my RSS feed. TQ for visiting! :)
Did you guys attend the Sabah Fest Cultural Show in Magellan over the weekend? This year, I managed to go, thanks to Fara!
This was the first time that I felt like we were one of the press people, as both Amie and I were there taking the VIPs’ photos when they arrived alongside the other photographers, and we were also there near the stage throughout the whole show! Punya syok, I tell you! Now I understand what Louis Pang meant when he talked about the adrenalin rush when taking photos during an event! The excitement is indescribable!
Okaayyy.. obviously I’m still excited from the event (even though it’s been like.. 2 days? LOL)
Now on to the pics time!

These kids looked so cute! (too bad my hand wasn’t steady when taking this shot though:()

The Gong entourage, waiting for the VIPs to arrive

I call ‘em the Drum people hehe..

Y’all know who this is.. our Sabah’s Chief Minister has arrived!
And throughout the walkway to the ballroom, you’ll be greeted with uber cute kids and adults with traditional costumes!

Just outside the ballroom (don’t they look cute?? Feel like pinching their cheeks!
)

More friendly faces just smiling at you whenever, especially when you point your camera to them!

This is where I was at most of the time, near the Gong group, and very near the stage. Me likey!
There are lotsa pics to be uploaded on this blog for Sabah Fest, so I’ll be putting them into different posts to sorta group up!
So stay tuned for Part 2!

nice photos of the event. just want to focus on one of the specific photo that you edited black and white at the back and color on the people beating the drum. i felt you kill a nice photo with your over touch up and blur effect using photo shop. try maintain the originality of the photos as much as possible when you spotted a nicely shot photo. The best you can do is to do some color correction and leveling with minimal unnecessary effect.
