Purple Chandeliers

First, I blogged about my new purr-ty purple shoes, and now, I’m blogging about this purple chandelier.

Aren’t they a purr-ty thing?

Can y’all see how much I love the colour Purple yet? Hehe..

~~~~~~
Small talk: Okay this has nothing to do about the colour purple, but have you heard of the brand Blueair before? Apparently they sell good stuff like air purifiers and stuff.. go check ‘em out!
2008 Sodop Unduk Ngadau
KDCA
So for the first time ever, I finally went to one of the Unduk Ngadau events at KDCA. I was given a free ticket, and I thought, heck, why not go and take some pics, right? I can eat the food there at the same time as well! Haha..
view-of-stage
The view from where I sat, which is useless for somebody like me who’s short sighted
I was seated at a table with bro and my cousins, and their workmates to the left side of the hall. I couldn’t complain, since I was there for free..
crowd
I mean, at least I was closer to the stage as compared to those people at the back, right?
But anyways, the emcees that night were:
the-mcs.jpg
DJ Constantine, and my ex-lecturer, Jennifer Lasimbang!
And right after the speeches were made by a few VIPs, the cultural show came next:
And the food was then served one-by-one:
food
The food was ok-ok lah. I couldn’t really concentrate on eating as I had to leave my seat to go closer to the stage to take pics, and change my lens back and forth all the time.. sheesh..
Oh well..
The performers were..
Rich-Estranged.jpg
Rich of Estranged (the camera-man sempat lagi focused on Velvet for a few seconds when Rich was singing haha!)
And also..
singers
The finalists and past winner of the Sugondoi. The little girl (right pic) is only 8 years old, and yet she has a deep voice! I’m sure everyone was like, whoa..! These 3 are sure talented!
Also, there was a magic show from a local guy:
magic.jpg
Not bad lah him! I love magic shows, so I concentrated fully on this guy’s performance! He turned fire into a bird lah, made the stool (or was it a mini table?) float in mid air lah, made his assistant go through him lah, and also cut his assistant in half lah.. Syoks!
Then it was time for the Unduk Ngadau ladies to come out and say hi..
DSC06173
As I was on the side of the hall, most of them didn’t look at me :(
But it’s okay..
My favourite is this:
DSC06178
The Unduk Ngadau DBKK, Ms. Jizeresta Jimmy, simply because she was the ONLY one who really looked at me and posed! TQ!! LOL!
photogs
I didn’t join the rest of the photogs in front like bennyliew and pirut etc, and just stood at the side of the hall only.. malas lah go there with them.. too many people around. Next time lah.
But from where I was at, I also managed to take these pics lah:
cousin-on-stage
That’s my cousin holding the fan! Hehe..
grand-prize-winner
Here she is again, this time helping out with the grand prize giving. The winner got an LG 32″ LCD tv! I want also lah!! Huhu..
Also..
Danny-Malinggi
Hey, it’s another cousin of mine, Danny Malinggi!
Then right before we left, the previous Unduk Ngadau, Jo-Ann Sue Healy Rampas went on stage. Man, she really is pretty! I really didn’t know that the Hotlink girl was her! How cool!
Jo-Ann
Isn’t she lovely?
Jo-Ann-N-Constantine
And her Dusun was straight! Very kelat (thick?) punya Dusun! I’m impressed! And have you all heard her songs before? They’re really quite nice! You can click here to listen her song Koupusan online!
~~~~~~

We left before the event ended; we didn’t want to get stuck in the jam later on. Clever us huh? ;)

Now, there’s the finals of the Unduk Ngadau on 31st May to look forward to! I’m gonna try and go and take better pics on that day! ;)

Geli But Still Wanna Take A Photo

Large Lizard

I’ve just posted this on my photoblog, and I’m gonna post this again here, since it’s related to my Rasa Ria post.

Anyway, WC and I were walking along the side of the pool area at Rasa Ria, and saw this giant lizard slowly crawling across our path! So geliiiii oh! Cuz it’s so huge! But I was like, “WC, don’t move! I wanna take a pic of this lizard!”

And even though I was around a few feet away from the lizard, I was so afraid that it would come crawling quickly at me! *imagination starts kicking in* Eeeeeeeek!
