Louis Pang: He’s Da Man!
Hi guys! If you're new here, you should subscribe to my RSS feed. TQ for visiting! :)

Attended the Extraordinary Wedding & Potrait Photography Seminar this afternoon by Louis Pang at STAR, and even though it was FOC (thanks to Epson! kekeke..) Louis did brought up some important topics on photography and tips on using Photoshop.
And best of all..

We got to meet the photography genius in person!
And he even gave me quite a lengthy advice on not to listen to other so-called photographers on what they think is right and what is wrong, which I agree 100%! (Thanks Dino for bringing the topic up! Hehe..)

Blur pic of us bloggers with Louis Pang & Crew!
And afterwards, us ladies did what we know best, posing for the cameras!

Still editing the rest of the pics. They’ll be uploaded later okies!
~~~~~~
And okay, this is wayyyy off topic, but how many of you have of heard of this particular drug rehab?
I’ve heard of Louis Pang, but I didn’t know he was THAT good until I read his blog entry about how, last year, he entered, for the first time, the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), the world’s most prestigious wedding photography contest and won the Photojournalism: Wedding Details category.
JACQ, you said “and he even gave me quite a lengthy advice on not to listen to other so-called photographers on what they think is right and what is wrong, which I agree 100%!” What did he mean by that? Did he mean: don’t listen too much to other people’s advice, but rather develop your own unique style, in order to stand out from the crowd, in order to be noticed, so be as creative as possible, try crazy settings?
Kay Kastum, sexy kah my camera? Hehe.. It’s the Sony A200 tu.
Julian, yea we were hoping to meet you there! Oh well, next time then huh..
Jusdy J., I did wrote down the 7 keys! Hehe.. yea actually the PSD tutorial quite basic, but still, it’s nice to see how the man enhanced his masterpieces!
misslamau, bah bulih bah.. how to give u?
amie, ya man! so worth it kan! I slept early the night before justa prepare myself for the seminar! Hehe..
Sir George, can! Which one?
ben, yup. He’s the latest photography sensation, and even better, coming from a Sabahan too! And about the advice, we commented how somebody told me that I shouldn’t take candid shots and it’s not ‘photography quality’, and Louis in turn advised me to just listen to my heart and what I think is right, and not to listen to other people. Which is true mah.. Everybody has to have their own style, right? So that’s what he and I meant lah..
JACQ: I agree wholeheartedly! As a result of your blog post, I started wondering about who is considered the greatest photographer who ever lived, and came across Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908-2004), probably the master “street photographer”. Absolutely amazing candid shots! Then I also saw that the field of photography is so wide - in my readings I came across what could well be my photography field of choice - landscape photography, of which Franco Fontana is da man.
i updated my post too on the event!:D
