** This is a continuation from Birthday On The Weekend - Pt. 1
~~~~~~
So on Sunday morning I woke up at 7am, only to find that outside was still foggy! Iyeerrrr! I really wanted to go back to sleep (cuz seeing WC on the bed sleeping so soundly in the cold), but I got dressed anyway cuz I was hungry!! Damn, the cold weather sure makes me hungry all the time!
Couldn’t go out and take a morning walk as it was drizzling and windy as well. Sucks like crap, you know! Was so pissed off! I then woke up WC who in turn woke Amie and Dinz to go for breakfast.
We ate at the Zen Garden’s restaurant (forgot the actual name), and after we got breakfast over and done with, the weather had started to clear up and we got to take pics of the area!
The very manja and wants-attention skinny black cat, the dog we called Snow Patrol, and the super cute preggy cat that had the body of Garfield! LOL..
The black cat wants our attention so bad that it followed us wherever we went, and we had to quickly go into the car without the cat noticing us, so that it won’t follow us and get too near to the car. But so kesian!! Cuz as we were leaving, the cat was actually looking around to see where we had went!
And Snow Patrol: we first saw this dog standing right in front of our lodge when we arrived (as if it was patrolling our lodge, and hence, the name!). But it didn’t wanna go next to us and it left and just kinda walk around here and there around the area. I took this pic of him on Sunday morning, and saw him looking at our lodge.. a bit creepy, but we’d rather think of it as him patrolling the place for us.
And the cat that looks like Garfield: OMG this cat can sure pose! She can just stay in her pose (whether it was sitting, or standing, etc) and actually not move, which is PERFECT for us who took loads of cute pics of her! And her fur was super smooth! Nice! This cat followed us too, but in the end she left to go.. somewhere! Hehe..
To those of you who knows about Zen Garden, what is this place?? The building looks like it’s another restaurant? But the place was nice..
After checking out, we all then headed to Perkasa Hotel, which is now called Mount Kinabalu Heritage Resort & Spa to check out the new chalets!
I think I’ve been here with the family when I was a toddler?? Sis, ngam kah tu?
How the inside looks like. Kinda small, but nicely furnished so the space actually looks kinda big!
We then headed to the bridge to go to the chalets..
The men and us ladies ber-posing on the jambatan!
The chalet(s) which was located on the other hill (after the bridge), and also the garden, which was located at the back of the hotel. Nice place to hold a wedding ceremony!
And if you walk further down, you will come to this place, which feels like a whole new world! Seriously! It was beautiful!
Macam not in Sabah lah! Haha..
TBC again later heh..
the one in zen garden: it’s a place to hold conferences/seminars
I don’t think we ever stayed at that Perkasa at all - it’s always been National Park during those days…
The place looks nice now, maybe we should consider staying there next time.
