Life Of A Borneo Gurl

I asked my models in the house to pose for me while I take their pics using my new A200, and here’s the outcome:

A bit bluish; used slow sync flash for this (I don’t know what they were looking at)

Then it was my doggies turn to model by themselves! First up, Bruno!

This is his only nice and clear pic, and most of his pics, he looked like this anyway. He rarely smiles lah this dog! So serious lookin’!

Then I turned to my other dog Spike, who was more than eager to pose for me!

Took many other pics, but they’re all boring looking, so it’s not gonna go on this blog.

But anyway, I think my dog has had it with being stalked like a celebrity when he looked at me with these expressions:

and he started to rub his eyes.. probably sakit mata from all the flashes

and suddenly when he sat up straight and looked at me as if he wanted to bite me, THAT’S when I knew he’d had enough! LOL..

And so here’s how our Valentine Dinner went..

We had it at Umai, which is in the D’Junction building..

When we arrived there, the place was already starting to be full. And 10 minutes later, it was packed

There were 4 of us that night; me and Yolanda, bro and WC

A usual scene whenever we’re in Umai; we didn’t know what to order and had to ask the waitress to help us out!

While everybody else just had a glass of wine, we brought our own bottle! Barulah satisfied! Hehe..

Good food and drink, lot’s of laughter.. one of the best (and different) Valentine’s Day I’ve had. And of course, after dinner, my big present came.

Hopefully we’ll have this much fun again on the next Valentine’s. Cheers!

WC totally surprised me during the Valentine dinner just now at Umai. I got a huge present after dinner! Different than the box he gave me last night!

In my mind, I thought.. “Could this be……(DSLR)?? Nahhhh it couldn’t be. But apaaa ni??” And just continued to open the present.

Then when I saw the word SONY and the orange Alpha Logo on the side of the box, my hands were shaking so much that WC had to help me take out the camera and put the lens on! LOL..

And then only it hit me: WC had bought me my first DSLR, the Sony A200, which we had checked out at the Sony shop just the day before!! What a cool surprise!!

But all these time he kept on telling me that getting a DSLR is out this year, and even gave me a long lecture about why he couldn’t get it for me a few nights ago. And he even banned me from using my own money to buy it! Hmph!

But whatever. The camera is here now. So damn excited la wei!!

And yes, I am an Alpha member now! Can’t wait to join their next workshop here in KK!
