Even though I’m still feeling a bit under the weather today, I’m SO glad I went to the Sony Alpha TT (it stands for Teh Tarik) Session at McDonalds Kingfisher at lunchtime today. Learned several good techniques and tips from the other Sony Alpha members, especially kysham!

Cool huh! Sempat juga my A200 tapun the 75300mm telephoto lens, as well as the super cool Minolta 50mm f1.7 prime lens! I want this particular lens lah!!

This Minolta 50mm f1.7 prime lens would be PERFECT for my food blog, don’t you guys agree? Hopefully I can find a good one on the Net. Oh and a flashgun too!

But no, I don’t mean down as in SAD. I mean down as in FALLING SICK!

And yes, I can’t remember the last time I was sick with the cough leh! I think it was early last year when I was still working at my road construction company. And OMG it was that long ago! Just shows how often I get sick huh?

Anyway.. yea.. cough cough.. urgh.. eyes swollen.. ick. It’s times like these that I’m glad that I’m always at home! Been staying in bed most of the time, and since for the past 3 days I was practically home alone, only ventured out to go buy my meals, as I was too lazy to cook for myself (sudahlah no energy wanna cook lagi?) Sigh.. Why do I hafta get sick when WC’s not around?!

But yesterday, I did feel a little better, so I bathed my dogs AND cooked myself a meal! Whoa!

I even cleaned my room! Geez..

It’s no wonder that I slept early last night and still feel under the weather this morning. But still, I have a Sony Alpha gathering to go to at lunchtime. Can’t wait! Sakit pun sakitlah. A person’s gotta eat, right?

Tanjung Aru First Beach at night

This pic was also taken over the weekend, although WC and I didn’t have a chance to have a drink at the cafe there. But we did went there again on Sunday morning while waiting for the time to pass so that he could go and check in at the airport..

Anyway, don’t you guys just love taking wide angle shots? For me, the wider the better! And I’m already checking out some of the wide angle lenses online hehe.. But hafta stick to my plan and buy flash first lah! Stick to the game plan! Learn it, live it, love it!

Oh, have you guys joined Borneo Shutter yet? It’s a photography forum especially for Sabahans. I definitely have! And I’ve also recently joined the Alpha forum as well. Stayed up all night last night just reading on some skills posted by other Alpha members hehe.. and I’m SO gonna join the Sabah Alpha members for their next outing!

WC suggested that we should go to Tanjung Aru on Saturday evening to buy some corn. So of course I grabbed both my cameras and put them into the bag and brought them along with us!

It was cloudy, but there were still some sun, so we waited and waited until it started to drizzle. So we gave up and went to eat instead. Then only the sun turned out like this:

I quickly cleaned my hands and grabbed my camera and went as far out as possible without getting my camera wet (it was still drizzling at that time). This is the closest that I could take of the sunset at Tanjung Aru. The colours were beautiful!
