Since WC is outstation this weekend, I thought I’d have a super boring Saturday yesterday. I tried to call and message my so-called close friends to come hang out with me, but none of them picked up the phone or replied. WTF man..
But whatever.. here’s how my day went..

Those are not the oil.. it’s the lihing. I put a LOT in muahaha..
Ate my leftover drunken chicken soup for brunch.. my favourite soup, sup Lihing! I could drink this anyday anytime! And the stronger, the better! I remembered back when I was like, 5 years old, I would go into my mom’s bedroom (who’d just given birth to my bro at that time) and helped her finish her soup and chicken! And I also remembered doing that when my sis’ gave birth too! LOL..
Since my friends couldn’t go out with me yesterday, I thought, screw it. I’m still going out anyway. Then the next thing that came to my head was, I wanna buy oink oink! LOL.. So I drove over to City Mall to buy some from Giant over there. But hah! After about 10 minutes of going around and around at the ground and basement parking and STILL couldn’t find any parking, I gave up and went to downtown KK instead. On a Saturday. So clever of me huh.. of course I got stuck in a traffic jam! What was I thinking! Sheesh.. And the oink oink, tapun..

So anyway, I went over to Warisan Square to go and check out the shop that sells the Ikea products called Living Concept. Some of the products there are quite nice, but they are SO expensive! Even though I do like the white chest of drawers there (which costs over RM1K if I’m not mistaken), I doubt that I can get it. WC would give me a long lecture on why I would spend my money on such an expensive thing! Oh well..
After that, I drove all the way to Inanam Business Centre (I was like, SO free that day driving around here and there) and went to the Proton Showroom there to check out the new Proton BLM.

My first thought: Hey it looks like a mini Waja or a Nissan Latio Sedan! Then, hey the front lights look like the Altezza’s! And then, Hey, the tail lights look like a Merc! And so I tried sitting down in it, and brushed off the salespeople when they tried to talk to me. I don’t need to listen to any salesperson telling me what I already need to know about this car! I’ve already done my research on the Net lah! Hehe..
And finally, I thought, hey, for a RM40K car, it’s not bad actually, and then took the above pic and the brochure and left.

And went to Damai and Bornion to tapau my lunch. Ahh.. the perks of not eating with WC; I can eat whatever I want! 5 piece chicken all to myself summore! With pearl milky tea! Muahaha!
Then after bro finished his work, I asked him to accompany me in the evening to check out some bedroom furniture. Saw some very nice ones at Lorenzo’s (of course lah nice lol! Price also nice!), but the ones at Casa Furniture area there I saw quite a lot of furniture that I liked too. A lot of darkwood furniture there! Which is what we’re looking for! But I’d hafta bring WC along again for the second time for the final decision.
So by the time we reached home, it was nighttime, and I was beat. So I just watched reruns of My Super Sweet 16, Kimora, and the Amazing Race Asia before heading off to bed. I am so hooked on watching the Amazing Race show lah now! But I don’t see any of my fellow bloggers blogging about it? That’s interesting..
** Oh, apparently WC is having a good time sightseeing Melaka for the third time there too! Nice of you to eat the chendol there on my behalf dearie.. Just don’t get a tummy ache, ya! ;)

What?! I didn’t know you curi minum my soup! And OMG, don’t tell me you are also hook on that silly “Super Sweet 16″?!
I agree with you on the Amazing Race Asia hype. Nobody is talking about it – although I’m sure we all still watch it. I still do too and was thankful that THAT team was finally eliminated!

City Mall is getting crowded each day kan? We went there for the Apple Donut. Pusing2 for like 5 rounds baru dapat parking. When we reached Apple Donut…the queuing line was so long, terus malas mau queue. We ate at Old Town White Coffee instead.
I’ve only watched AR Asia 2 twice…

Hi, I have been reading your blog for awhile now, and I really enjoy it. I live in Miri , but travel to K.K. every now and then. I have visited a few places I did not know about because of your blog. I am wondering if you know of any cheap , clean and safe (for a lady staying alone) in the K.K. area North of the city, up towards Kota Belut(sp)?
My husband is going offshore next week, and wants me to travel with him so we can take a holiday to Poring when he returns. I do not really want to spend so much at the hotels in town. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.

I love going for furniture shopping especially when we first got our own place…If you like the dark brown types of furniture, you should check out MIVA too. I love the designs there, the modern types. You should also do a lot of window shopping b4 deciding which ones to purchase. We did a lot of that previously and even went all the way to Papar to do window shopping and finally bought our bedroom set from there. Our theme color is dark brown and we were very strict on that…in the end we bought our furniture from everywhere…MIVA, Chan, Matahari, Casa Furniture, Home Sq., KCF (Papar), Keng Huat etc…

Jewelle, odoiii.. remember when you said you canot finish your chicken? I was the one who ate the remainders downstairs! LOL.. And about the Super Sweet 16 thingy, at that time, there weren’t other good shows on what! And about the TARA2 pula, yea, even Allan himself put on his blog that he’s glad that he can finally eliminate that team cuz the team bukan ada competition spirit oredy pun! They treat it like a vacation ni! So slow! Kin geram!
chegu carol, yea I really hate going to City Mall now. No matter if you go in the morning, noon, evening, or even night, memang always no parking ni! Sheesh.. And you’ve only seen the TARA2 twice? Syok bah the show! They get to travel to Europe lagi, not only around Asia!
jppmom, LOL! Who knows once I’m married and just gave birth, it will be my turn who will get fed up of that soup! That will be so funny! But then again, who knows right? That might just happen hehe..
Melissa, hello there Melissa! I’ll get in touch with you in email ya :)
Aunty J, yup. We did checked out MIVA, but unfortunately there’s none that WC likes there (within the budget that is). But thanks for the tip! I’ll keep that in mind once we kahwin and have bought our own house! :)
Nick Phillips, yea I sure did! :)
