How I Spent My New Year
Friday, January 4th, 2008WC and I were supposed to celebrate the New Year with friends at Blue Note, but he opted out at the last minute due to tiredness. So we ended up staying home instead, eating pizza, salmon sashimi, and reruns of the XMen marathon on Star Movies.
I know right? Like, whoo-pee-do..
And on the next day, we stayed home again and I grilled some chicken wings that I had marinated the day before. And the result:
Shoulda grilled more of ‘em. Finger lickin’ good, I tell you!
And as of WC, he grilled something else, something that he’s been wanting to grill for quite a while now. I’ll give y’all a sneak peak:

Hopefully he’ll finish the post tonight, because the food sure turned out delicious!
Oh and that late evening, for the second time in that day, the electricity went off in Damai! WTF man.. What a way to spend the New Year night huh? We couldn’t find any candles at home (Lol!) so we got dressed in the dark (lol again!) and went out for dinner, then went to watch Alien VS. Predator 2 at Cathay.
To those of you who haven’t seen this movie, just wait for it to come out in Astro or something. This movie is such a joke. What a waste of my RM8.
