Life Of A Borneo Gurl

Wei Chuen and I went to this one coffee shop at Lido for breakfast, and they had this fish chap stall, with a lot of fish ingredients. So as usual, just asked for a mixture of everything to my mee soup lah.

Then when I checked what was included in my mee soup, I saw this:

OMG isn’t that some kind of siput(snail) thingy?? And to think that I almost ate it!

Don’t get me wrong. I used to LOVE eating the siput dishes. But several years back, I had a bad experience where I tasted a very foul smelled siput which had me in a puking marathon over the next few days. So right then and there, I vowed to myself that I would never, ever eat any type of siput again!

So imagine my horror when out for dinner with our friends on Sunday night, where there was not one, but 2 dishes of snails! And another one yesterday! Eeeii.. need to lay off seafood for awhile lah I think.. phobia man..

When Dan & Mel were here in KK, we had agreed to meet up and go visit Shemah and baby together. OMG Baby Allie is so easy to take care of lol! All she does was sleep most of the time we were there! But Buddy, that’s a different story! He is one very hyper and super cute kid! And his eyelashes are to die for! Jealous lah! Hehe..

I actually went to the same high school with Shemah (and her sister Syura; classmates even at one time!) but we were never close. But thanks to the power of Internet and blogs, everyone can become friends again! Heehee..
