This Weekend Will Be A Happening Weekend

In KK, that is. The one weekend I decide to go over to Brunei is the same weekend that will be a happening one.

Why?

Well, first, I’ll be missing one of my close friend, and ex-colleague’s wedding this Saturday (yea top pic is her invitation card), and am kicking myself for not being able to go. She’s one of my very close friend, like my younger sister even. Sigh.. so sorry gurl for not being able to make it.. :(

And then on Saturday night, the Halloween Party at the Office Pub will be on as well. I really wanted to go this year as I missed it last year! But dang it, hafta give this year a pass as well! Grrrrr…

And I’m sure you’ve all read about my recent post about the Bloggers Meet which will be held this Sunday. I reeeaally hope I can make it. Hopefully I can reach back to KK in time for this. *crosses fingers*

I guess I’ll just make this Brunei trip this weekend a very fun one as well, so that I won’t be left out.

Will be leaving very early tomorrow and I haven’t even finished packing yet! Argh! Last minute betul oh me! Ish!

First Experience Of Cooking A Steak

Yesterday, while BF was out meeting with clients, I had the kitchen all to myself (parents in Sandakan). And BF said that he wanted to eat some steak. And on Sunday night itself, he did marinated some lamb shoulders.

Anyway, I’ve decided to give it a try and cook my very first steak.

But the end result wasn’t nice at all. I ended up burning it, especially my portion. :(

But my lemiding soup passed with flying colours lol.. yum yum!

When BF came home, he had been so nice and said the steak was good and ate all of it anyway. Aww..

Another Bloggers Meet!

Have you guys heard of the latest Bloggers Meet being organised by Dee?

Peter Tan will be in town so he’ll love to meet with us KK Bloggers. Some info about him (as how Lionel puts it):

“The well-known national blogger-in-a-wheelchair Peter Tan will be there. For the clueless who at least respond to reports of celebrity, he’s sort of up there with Jeff Ooi, Kenny Sia, ShaolinTiger, Suanie, et al.”

Details of the Bloggers Meet:

  • Date: 28 October 2007 (this Sunday)
  • A VERY casual bloggers meet
  • Venue: the Shamrock Irish Pub
  • Time: 8.30pm
  • RM 25 per person inclusive of 1 mocktail & finger food. (only if more than 20 pax)

So here I am doing my part on spreading the word out.

Please let Dee know if you are able to attend. I myself would love to go, but on that day itself, WeiChuen, big bro, and I will be driving our way back from Brunei to KK. If I can still make it, then I’ll go.Hope all you KK bloggers will come and join the Meet!

Say hello to my temporary best friend, Mr.Vitamin C. Am currently down with a runny nose, probably due to the rain. Urgh.. Hopefully I’ll be better by the time I leave to Brunei in 2 days!
