My Trip To The Fish Market

Hi guys! If you're new here, you should subscribe to my RSS feed. TQ for visiting! :)

Slept quite early last night, and so, woke up quite early this morning, and I just suddenly decided that I want to have a ‘No Sponsored Posts’ day today. I want to have a day of phototaking!

But when I went down to feed my fishies, saw that one of them had died. :(But anyway, I’ve been craving to eat fried fish for like, a week now, so I dragged WeiChuen to bring me to the KK fish market downtown after breakfast. The last time I was there was some donkey years ago..

Please excuse the picture quality (except for the last pic). Used my camera phone bah..

Was a beautiful morning!

While walking towards the fish market, WeiChuen suddenly told me to cross the road and walk on the opposite side. All this time, I was only looking down and didn’t realised what was happening just a few feet from us. But once opposite the road, WeiChuen said there was a dead body covered with black plastic on the road, with a couple of cops around it. And yes, I saw the covered body too. And to think I almost walked right next to it! Yaaiiii!

Okay, moving on..

The inside of the fish market. Still looks the same, sans some tiles on the floor here and there..

Puffer fish for sale! You can buy it if you dare..

But I was there on a mission, and that was to get some Kerisi fish, and I did managed to buy some.

And since I just had a manicure, and didn’t want to spoil my nails, I asked the seller to clean them for me! Hehe..

WeiChuen’s mission was to find some king prawns. And the biggest prawns there were these:

He also bought some sapak:

Crabs are for sale everywhere too

But aside from the puffer fish, the other interesting fish that I saw was the sailfish (marlin fish’s cousin LOL).

Yea, remember the bigh fish near Hyatt hotel? If you don’t know, this is a blue marlin, sailfish’s ‘cousin’, sans the big dorsal LOL..

After we were done, stopped over to the market opposite the road and bought some ‘lemiding’:
