Paintball Fun @ Penampang Point Paintball

17 Sep

Hi guys! If you're new here, you should subscribe to my RSS feed. TQ for visiting! :)

We received an invitation to play paintball game at Penampang Point Paintball from a friend of ours a few days ago, and as soon as WeiChuen finished reading the sms, he was all excited to play and persuaded me to join in as well!

Both of us have never played this game before, and until we received the sms, we have never even heard that this game exists here in KK! LOL..

I actually didn’t wanna play because I’ve seen some bruise pictures from my friends who have played them in KL, and they sure are horrible! And I gave excuses after excuses to WeiChuen so that I could be exempted from the game, but WeiChuen being WeiChuen, he believed none of it, and thus, I was stuck playing in the game with most of the boys. But boy, was I glad that I played! It was super fun!

The entrance to the field. You can give those numbers a call if you would like to play!

This is how the field looks like

I’ve given the important task of capturing the game moments on my camera to Radzie. TQ very much Zie! :)

Before the game starts, we managed to camwhore a bit amongst the players! As usual lah when I’m around! LOL!

The players are divided into 2 teams, East Side and West Side. And say hello to my East Side team!

DSCN2512.jpg

Okay fine, you can’t see who’s who behind the mask, so here’s the East Side team once again!

DSCN2515.jpg

Nice lookin’ team, ey? And yes, I was the only one wearing the vest!

DSCN2514.jpg
And here’s WeiChuen and I gettin’ ready to go out and play!

And here we are getting into position!

DSCN2519.jpg

Radzie took some nice shots with my camera! And he also managed to capture me in action! With messy hair, unfortunately (lol..), but then again, who has time to fix it when you’re in a middle of a ‘war’!

DSCN2529.jpg
Here’s WeiChuen in action too! Dang he was brave; hardly went for cover!

DSCN2527.jpg
And here’s us covering the centre field!

Okay lah, enough of us. Here’s the team in action as well!

DSCN2533.jpg

DSCN2545.jpg
See? Told y’all that WeiChuen hardly goes for cover!

DSCN2556.jpg
This is one of the shots that WeiChuen received after moving to the West Side team (this shot’s by Julian Sabah), and I commented on how it looks a lot like bird doo-doo! A pink bird doo-doo! LOL!

When the both of us got home (with WeiChuen having the most bruises), our shoes (and socks) were soaked with mud, due to the rainfall during the game. But with all the excitement during the game, who has time to think of mud! And actually, the more dirty you get, the more fun it is! (And luckily I’m not the type who would make a fuss over dirt! LOL!)

Group picture of both the East Side and West Side Team. We had so much fun, I’m sure we’ll be doing this again soon! Can’t wait!

~~~~~
I’ve finally uploaded a short clip of us in the middle of the ‘war’, taken by WeiChuen! Enjoy!
    I was checking out the game
    - apparently it’s very painful if you get shot – WeiChuen is a real kamikaze.
    - if u get ur own eqpts, it seems to be a more expensive hobby than golf! The gun alone can cost upwards of RM3,000. Many equipments needed.
    - check out “pro paintball” or “world cup paintball” at youtube to see how the pros play it – very physical game indeed. 5 ppl in a team. In one video the game was over in a mere 2 minutes.
    JACQ:  yup. Like what I posted above to Gallivanter, you should see WeiChuen’s bruises all over his body! I guess that’s what you get for being a kamikaze! Not advisable at all! And wow, I didn’t know it’s that expensive? I guess better stick to just borrowing their equipments then huh! :)
    I wonder.. wats the price of this game… is this PPP someway around Jalan Tanaki towards Tan Sri Bernard Dompok residence area?
    JACQ: yes it’s near Kg. Tanaki! It’s actually located at Jalan Inobong-Kiranau. There are several packages to choose from. You can call them to find out. :)
    Pass that area everyday but never got round to stopping or checking the place out. Boo hoo! But sure looks like so much fun!
    JACQ: No, that’s called KK Point KK Paintball Centre. Smaller than this Penampang Point. But yea cool, having a drink after the game sounds heavenly! ;)
    I have new items in my wish list: paintball guns! The woods at the back of my house in the kampung is big, with many trees, rolling hills, rivers – an ideal battleground – very promising paintball arena. Only thing is, I wonder if you need special license / permission from the relevant authorities to buy the guns.
    JACQ:  They’re actually called markers, not guns (was told this during the short briefing before the game hehe..). But yea, WeiChuen was wondering about the license as well. I guess maybe you do need it..
    jacq, KKPC is not kk point, its KK Paintball centre. from wat i know kkpc is the one who supply all the equipment in PPP. im a paintballer too, played once at PPP but the field seem smaller, so i guess u wrong abt PPP being bigger. kkpc is a bit expensive at pricing though, PPP cheaper. however in terms of field size, kkpc is a lot bigger. the size of the field made us feel worth it to play at kkpc rather than PPP. we oso can play 2gether after nov bcoz now im still in the fasting month (bayar balik hutang puasa hahaha)
    yes ben u rite, i just quoting painball equipment, its quite expensive. im considering now either wanna go for ion or tippmann. im afraid i might dont have much time and money to play for tournament so it might be good just to have scenario marker like tippmann x7/a5. how ever i might too consider joining under marshall. do u know dat kkpc is the head branch for malaysian marshall in sabah (the only certified marshall bodies in sabah). i wan to join in as marshall as i heard u will get paid for every tournament u bcome ref
