Follow-up to my previous post about Imperial International Hotel, like Julian Sabah, I was also one of the lucky ones who was called up by the boss of this hotel and was given a free night stay here and do a review.
Lucky me, huh.. :)

Entrance of the hotel

Lobby

The reception counter. They accept walk-ins too now!

The elevator area

The spacious hallway. BF commented that without me with me, he would sure get lost here as we had to take a couple of turnings to get to our room LOL!

The spacious and luxurious feel of our hotel room. Nice huh! And I LOVE the red comfy chair!

The comfy bed and a cool see-through window to the bathroom!

There’s a bathtub AND a shower too!

The door, flat-screen tv, and working desk

I love to take pics of bathrooms. And I love the room’s bathroom! Simple and yet nice design!

View of my bedroom window at night.. That’s Waterfront, by the way..

And we left the window curtain opened at night so in the morning, we could wake up to this view. Nice eh; you’re in the middle of the city, and yet can have this view?

That see-through window to the bathroom is so wicked! Hehe. The interior decor is nice, nice, nice.
JACQ: Yes, my fav was the see-thru window too! But not all rooms have that, only the deluxe I think.. And yes, this is another hotel with contemporary design!

Emm… they asked you to do a review and publish it as a blog post? But… to me a “review” should include con points also, not just plus points… cos nothing can ever be perfect.
JACQ: They asked what I think of the hotel, so this is how I see it. And personally, I think a review doesn’t hafta have con points, because, what if you can’t find any? True, nothing’s perfect, they can’t have the swimming pool on the rooftop. Does that count as a con?

oh ya… talking about swimming pool… it may be a NECESSITY for orang putih guest… sometimes they really look for hotels with swimming pool..
JACQ: I know.. hope the boss of the hotel is reading this and still put the pool into consideration.. I’m a big fan of hotel swimming pools too! That’s usually the 1st place I check out and go to whenever I stay at a hotel! ;)

Yeah.. my sister in law was working here when it was supposed to be Mercure Hotel. But then when they changed it to Imperial and changed managements she decided to leave. Still the interior is still the same. As i told my sis-in-law, love the see-through bathroom. Hahaha.
JACQ: Really? Why did she leave?? At the place where I worked before I became self employed, quite a lot of them wanted to join this hotel as well. Wonder if they really did… and yes, the see-through bathroom is sure a favourite by many! :)

Apparently different management means different contracts.. some had their pays lowered and some remained the same. Hers remained but she decided to leave anyways. :(
JACQ: I SEE..

Hi, Jacq… So great I’m able to view your posting. The hotel looks really cool! May I know what kind of room that you stayed? I checked the room & rates from their website, but it is quite confused as they have court-room, standard superior and superior… etc. Do you know what’s the different between these rooms type?
JACQ: IF I’M NOT MISTAKEN, IT’S THE SEAVIEW DELUXE ROOM.. IT HAS BEEN A WHILE AND I REALLY DON’T REMEMBER THE NAME OF IT ANYMORE HEHE.. AND YOU CAN DROP THEM AN EMAIL (info@imperialkk.com) AND ASK FOR THE DIFFERENCE OF THE ROOMS
