Hi guys! If you're new here, you should subscribe to my RSS feed. TQ for visiting! :)

BF and I had dinner on Wednesday night here at Barcelona Tapas Y Cava in Warisan Square.
And wow.. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they served so many complimentary food from the chef! I didn’t manage to see whether other tables got the same treatments or not. I think they probably did..
But anyway..
First up, a dish that is bread and tomato paste, forgot the name, though. Such a simple dish, and yet, yummy!

Even BF gave it 2 thumbs up!
Then a complimentary drink called “Sangria ‘D’ Most”.

Then, complimentary cheese nuggets. Was told that the cheese was imported all the way from Spain. In fact, all of their ingredients are! Muy Bueno, si?

This restaurant is also the first restaurant that I’ve left a lot of tip to them, even though they have service charge. But hey, it’s not everyday you get this much complimentary stuff, and speak to one of the bosses AND the chef all in one night, right?
Am still compiling the info to do a review for this restaurant. So damas y caballeros, wait for it ya?
Update: You can read my review of this restaurant here: Spanish Dinner @ Barcelona Tapas Y Cava.

Food is good there ah? But how come NO PEOPLE one ah? Weekdays weekends also no people or not much people. Maybe the freebies is to woo customers back since they are not doing so well.
JACQ: Is it? Cuz at that time we were there, there were at least 4 tables of customers. And I think locals are just not adventurous yet with the Spanish food, as it’s really authentic Spain food. But since I love Spanish food, I’m glad they have one in Warisan!

When I went there, the place was pretty packed.. We went on a weekend.. But I really enjoyed myself. Good food, nice ambiance.. My son loved it too.. Especially that last dessert.. the flan-like-yum-O-makes-you-happy dessert!
And I like the fact that the chef comes out to make sure that you’re pretty happy. The mixed paella (chicken and seafood) was nice too. But then again, i love places with lots of freebies.
JACQ: Think the dessert is creme brulee? Not sure, though. Sis said it looks like creme brulee.. And I wonder whether they always give out freebies.. hmm..

Yeah.. that’s it.. Creme brulee.. My sis and her friend just went there this evening.. Lots of complimentary tapas she said. So i’m guessing, prior to their official opening, they will be giving out freebies alot.
Can’t remember the exact date of their official opening, though…
