JACQ’s Review: Imperial International Hotel

Friday, August 17th, 2007

Follow-up to my previous post about Imperial International Hotel, like Julian Sabah, I was also one of the lucky ones who was called up by the boss of this hotel and was given a free night stay here and do a review.

Lucky me, huh.. :)

The spacious hallway. BF commented that without me with me, he would sure get lost here as we had to take a couple of turnings to get to our room LOL!

The spacious and luxurious feel of our hotel room. Nice huh! And I LOVE the red comfy chair!

The comfy bed and a cool see-through window to the bathroom!

There’s a bathtub AND a shower too!

I love to take pics of bathrooms. And I love the room’s bathroom! Simple and yet nice design!

And we left the window curtain opened at night so in the morning, we could wake up to this view. Nice eh; you’re in the middle of the city, and yet can have this view?

Fantastic Dinner @ Barcelona Tapas Y Cava

Friday, August 17th, 2007

DSCN1693.jpg

BF and I had dinner on Wednesday night here at Barcelona Tapas Y Cava in Warisan Square.

And wow.. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they served so many complimentary food from the chef! I didn’t manage to see whether other tables got the same treatments or not. I think they probably did..

But anyway..

First up, a dish that is bread and tomato paste, forgot the name, though. Such a simple dish, and yet, yummy!

Even BF gave it 2 thumbs up!

Then a complimentary drink called “Sangria ‘D’ Most”.

Cheers! Glug Glug..

Then, complimentary cheese nuggets. Was told that the cheese was imported all the way from Spain. In fact, all of their ingredients are! Muy Bueno, si?

I could eat this everyday and gain weight in no time!

And finally, dessert. Have no idea what it’s called, it’s cream and sugar, though. Yummy!

This restaurant is also the first restaurant that I’ve left a lot of tip to them, even though they have service charge. But hey, it’s not everyday you get this much complimentary stuff, and speak to one of the bosses AND the chef all in one night, right?

Am still compiling the info to do a review for this restaurant. So damas y caballeros, wait for it ya?

Update: You can read my review of this restaurant here: Spanish Dinner @ Barcelona Tapas Y Cava.
