Life Of A Borneo Gurl

Quite a lot of my friends have cancelled out on the gurl outing that my friends and I will be having tomorrow night, and one of the reason is due to this:

I’m not gonna elaborate a lot on that here, so if you wanna know more about this event, just click here to read the news.Too bad BF is not a fan of going to places where there are a lot of people around, so we’re gonna give this event a miss. Luckily he’s gonna join us girls for our outing, though, and I’m not sure who else (for guys) will be joining us, so I guess he’ll just hafta become our photographer and our bodyguard for the night then!

And Mel is coming back to KK today for 3 days for the launching of YFitness on Saturday! So if y’all are interested in joining me go to this event, let me know as I’ll be going alone (BF will be busy doing marketing as usual)!

And to those of you who will be joining us for the outing tomorrow night, make sure all your cameras are charged up! We don’t another case of batteries died out in the middle of our camwhoring session!

* Just some personal updates *

This is GOT to be the fastest week I have ever encountered! It’s Friday already! Felt like yesterday was just Monday! Where has the week gone to??! Crazy!

Woke up quite later than usual this morning; at around 8am. Would usually be up by around 5am to do my work online. Even BF wondered why I’m so tired this morning as I slept earlier than he did last night!

I would usually go take a nap at around 10pm until around 12am, and then back to doing my work. But recently, I’ve given BF the task to wake me up from my nap before he goes to bed at around 1am. But I always up waking up to my alarm instead at around 5am! WTF! And whenever I would ask him about it, he would say that I always sleep like a log and don’t wake up pun when he tries to wake me up! Aduiii.. LOL!

Anyway, had a shock this morning when I went over to Gallivanter’s blog and saw him in make-up and sans goatee! Have you guys seen the pics yet?! OMG! Am so lucky am at home at this moment as I burst out laughing like there’s no tomorrow just by looking at those pics!

And speak of the devil, Gallivanter sms’ed me at that exact moment, saying that Mrs. Papajoneh have given birth this morning! Congrats PapaJ! Good to hear that everyone is doing well.

5 more days till payday! Woohoo! Lol.. I withdraw my pay every 2 weeks, as I don’t like to withdraw too much from Paypal; scared that my account will be frozen if I suddenly withdraw such a large amount. So ya.. can’t wait!

Upcoming engagement preparation is mostly going well; we just have slight problem on what to give each other for the exchange of gifts part. How much is too much? I wanna give him Mont Blanc stuff since it’s his favourite brand, but he has quite a lot of their stuffs already! Like just the other day, he was dressed in Mont Blanc from head to toe! Crazy la that guy..

And this is the problem with us: we love to give each other expensive and spontaneous gifts once in a while, but when it comes to an actual event like Valentine’s Day or like the Engagement Day, our minds would just go blank. I asked him what he wants for one of the gifts, and he replied he wants this particular Mont Blanc pen that costs over RM10K! Okayyy.. yeah uh huh..  And when he asks me what do I want, I replied him, I want a new car! LOL! So as you can see, we’re going nowhere with our so-called brainstorming! Sheesh..

Now need to window shop online again to get some ideas on what I can give him.. and this evening, going to buy some more avocados. Have a craving for that fruit lately..
