08 Aug

Hi guys! If you're new here, you should subscribe to my RSS feed. TQ for visiting! :)

**Update: Radius International Hotel is now called Imperial Boutec Hotel, guys! Official website HERE.

~~~~~~
BF have given me the task of finding a “quite reasonably priced” hotel here in KK for when his friends are coming down from KL at the end of this month. And I was lucky enough to finally check out Radius International Hotel today! I’ve been wanting to check out that hotel ever since it opened but never had the chance to do it.
Y’all may be wondering as to why the delay of checking out this hotel.. Well, simple.. I haven’t had the chance to go up to the hotel and check out lah, that’s why! LOL..
But to those of you who still haven’t seen how the hotel looks like inside, here are some pics for you guys to see and enjoy!
Cool lookin’ lobby and Reception Counter.. Very modern. I like!
Part of the lobby, waiting area
I also had the privilege to just check out the rooms, even though I heard they’re fully booked that day. Why was I able to do that? Cuz I’m special, that’s why! Heehee..
The comfy bed. Think this one is in the room called Courtroom..
I’m a sucker for modern gadgets, so when I saw this tv, I was like, Ooh! Niiiice! Lol!
LOVE this view of the garden area too!
So ladies and gents, there you have it, some pics of the hotel. Not that much, but at least something huh!
I also had the privilege to check out the new hotel in Warisan Square as well, called Imperial Hotel. It’s not done yet, but like I said, I’m so special that they let me tour the place up anyway! Heehee!
    radius room if you see..the back wall of da room is like a class room style
    you can peek outside the room to see the so called garden. not so nice if you think about it..but maybe som ppl will not mind..then again some ppl might mind..considering the night activity that will be going on…kekeke
    as for imperial hotel..it used to call Mercure Hotel, as i heard the management (radius) decided to run the business on their own so they let (mercure management) go. so that is how imperial hotel come about.
    imperial top floor will be restaurant and a swimming pool…ground floor will have a louge bar and top floor will be a bar also next to the swimming pool..restaurant will have a capacity of 100 pax with a view of Tunku Abdul Rahman Island Marine Park. the room wise, standard room will only have a shower room as for the higher category room there will be a bathtub (i love bathtub…kekeke).
    Date of completion of thise hotel will be around september (that is wat i was told)
    JACQ:  I think as long as you keep the curtains drawn and shut, then it should be ok. Can’t see inside juga lah.. And for about the Imperial Hotel, yup. What you posted are mostly right. Had a short history lesson yesterday about the hotel too. Hehe.. But no more swimming pool on rooftop, though the view up there is nice, especially for sunset watching! I like the rooms cuz they’re very modern looking as well, which is exactly my taste! And about the bathtub, hahah! I have the a pic of that! Gotta get permission from d boss whether I can post the pics up here first la..
    I’ve blogged a bit about Radius ( http://milai.blogspot.com/search/label/Hotels) when I was also in a hunt for hotels. Although, I’ve never been there, just looking at the pics on their website makes me wanna go there. Your pictures have validated on how contemporary the hotel is. :)
    JACQ:   Glad you’ve finally found a room and made your booking there, after 14 attempts! I would’ve gone all frustrated and stuff to be getting that many rejections hahah!
    I stayed there, it’s okay for the price I paid. I like the look of the hotel, though the rooms are tad small. The location is superb. Highly recommended. Location! Location! Location!
    JACQ:  yea a bit on the small side, but to me, I think the decor made up for that. And yes, I agree with you! Location is everything! This hotel truly is a bargain!
    Hiya, was blog-hopping and stumbled upon yours, quite interesting I must say.
    This entry to be exact, piqued my interest. To anyone reading, next time before checking into this place, probably you could get a discount from here:
    http://www.friendster.com/10179968
    Apparently, he’s the owner!
    Err.. yea I know. He’s on my featured friends list. :) But I highly doubt that he’ll give anyone a discounted rate just because you message him on Friendster though.. hehe..
