Interesting Weekend Pt.2
Hi guys! If you're new here, you should subscribe to my RSS feed. TQ for visiting! :)
Continuation from Part 1..
On Sunday morning, BF and I (along with my brother and cousin) went shopping at Wisma Merdeka. We had brunch at the food court there, then BF wanted to buy a Sony home theatre system that was on sale for RM1,799.
So we went to have a look-see, and told the salesman (BF’s friend as well) that we would be back as we wanted to shop for other things first. But in the end, he ended up not buying the home theatre system, but he bought these a pair of Nike sport shoes and these!

A pair of Motorola V3xx! I have no idea what came over him actually to be buying both himself and my handphone! I’ve been telling him that I want to get myself a new handphone, as my the one I was using kept on giving me problems after being with me for so many years, and I originally wanted this:

A Motorola ROKR Z6 (can you tell I’m a Moto fan? LOL). I want this simply because of the slider function and how sturdy it feels on my hand. I also compared this Z6 with the Nokia 6288, but I find that the 6288 is a bit bulky for my hand. The Z6 costs RM950, by the way..
Then come in BF, checking out the V3XX since there was an offer on that phone for RM799. He liked the shape so much ever since the first V3 came out. He wanted to buy the V3X originally simply because of the 3G function, but it was too bulky, so he chose the V3XX instead. Mind you, he didn’t have the intention at all to buy a handphone, but I guess he was in a SUPER DUPER good mood to spend that day, he bought himself the V3XX AND offered to buy me the same phone too!
Argh! Dilemma dilemma! I of course wanted the Z6, but ended up saving my RM950 in my wallet (who could resist freebies, right!). And that was how BF ended up buying 2 phones that day!

He loves his phone so much, and he dragged me to the Maxis centre here in Damai to get our phones configured this morning for the 3G and the Internet functions. We’ve also subscribed for the MaxisTV too! Now we could watch channels like Entertainment Daily, Cartoon Network (yes!since we don’t subscribe this on our Astro), CNN, Astro Hitz.tv, and MTV2GO on our phones for RM20 a month! Coolness! Though, I’m not sure how often I would use these functions as I’m always at home and I could just turn on the TV to watch the channels..

Anyways, on Sunday evening, BF and I joined my brother and cousin Octivian for a Pearl drink at Yoyo in Damai.

Haven’t had this drink in ages! And haven’t been to Yoyo in Damai in ages as well! Luckily there weren’t much people around when we were there, so we chose to sit at our favourite spot, outside, at the back of Yoyo! Because here, I could take pics like this!

Then we went for dinner at Foh Sang after that.
My, my… BF paid for everything that day, I’m sure he felt the burn on his wallet with all that Nike shoes, phones, and meals expenses on both Saturday and on Sunday! I think after this he won’t be bringing me out for quite some time..

what kinda home theater sys so cheap?
JACQ: Eh? I think I put the brand Sony on the post right? Or to be more detailed, a 5:1 home theatre system. You can go check them out at the Sony dealer at Wisma Merdeka. That’s where we checked out the price..

Alamak, another Motorola users.. great welcome to the family. I still remember i got my V3i for RM1,500 and now it worth only 1/3 of it. Geez…
of coz mine the iTune version only… back then 3G was an unsure technology. Furthermore, its good to have both, like u n Rid… if not, the 3G function is useless for playing alone.
so later we can do the Hello moto commercial, everyone flip open. hahahaha.
JACQ: yup, the price had dropped a lot huh.. That’s why in terms of handphone, we’d rather wait a while for it to go down. It may be bangas oredy to some people, but hey, as long as the phone still looks good, then ok lah what! And ya! Let’s do the commercial next time we meet! That’d be cool! LOL..
